The eyes of Texas are rolling!!!
One of my greatest joys since moving to Austin, Texas has been having Herman sit in with my band at the Hole In The Wall - clad in his pizza-delivery-boy uniform, making mincemeat out of "B-I-Bickey-Bi, Bo-Bo-Go." striking fear in the hearts of sidemen trying to decipher cues and signals of unknown origin.
 I was once quoted as saying that if I were made head of Columbia Records, my first act would be to sign Herman The German and Das Cowboy. When this CD is topping the charts in Estonia, I'm going to send a copy of that article to Mr. Sony President with a four-word resume: "I told you so!"
