So far I've written FAQs and Help Pages for Florida Atlantic University, the FAU radio station OWL Radio, and a few hosting companies. As a system administrator for FAU, I answered many questions about the departments, colleges and services and initiated the FAQ for FAU Web Designers and a general FAQ for Web visitors which are both used 'til this day. The general FAQ has been modified greatly since my employment at the University. However, the Developer's FAQ has been embellished and the outline remains very similar to my original efforts. I am glad that the FAQ's are still useful to FAU.

I've also created the policies and procedures for the design area of a local hosting company. I was able to do this in a few days because of my experience with the FAU WISE Team policies and procedures. So I am able to setup, from scratch, the design area of a company, small business or educational institution. In a matter of a few months I am able to set up FAQs and tutorials for the designers, the programmers, the clients and management.

Currently I am working with PERL. I make "toolboxes" for people who do not know HTML and for those who do not know how to update files on a Web server. I also create Administrative interfaces on the Web that will set up these toolboxes for all those happy people. These interfaces save my fingers from becoming bony and tired.

Lynelle says "OK!"

I even created a help page for the toolbox and the interface.

I created an administration tool for adding Web pages for each client to a large Web site with members.

Here is what it does:
1. Creates a new area for the client
Houses the client's Web Page
2. Adds a welcome page for the client
This is like a tour of the Web site's services for those happy clients
3. Adds an administration area for that client
Includes an image update tool
Includes a text update tool
Includes a support page for using these tools
4. Updates the CGI area
5. Sends an email to the Webmaster and the client
Webmaster gets an email that reports which files were created
Client gets an email notice of a new Web page, username, and the location of the help pages

I also create scripts for checking Web Services. If one fails, an action is called to restart the service and send a page and email to the System Administrator.
