Help Page for the Web Page Admin Toolbox

Parts of your radio station DJ Web page can be changed by visiting either the Text Tool (form) or the Image Tool (form). Notice the icons at the top of this page.

• If you want to edit the text click on the T icon that is on your Admin Toolbox page or at the top of this page.
• If you want to change the images on your Web page, click the smiley icon that is on your Admin Toolbox page or at the top of this page.

Your page should look a little like the example to the left. Notice a few of the areas are associated with a letter. These areas can be changed by adding information to the corresponding area on the on-line form.

There are two other areas to make note of.
• The "Date" area
• The "Admin Toolbox" icon
Date - This area will be changed each time you update the text on your Web page. This is done automatically when you complete the Text's admin form.
Admin Toolbox Icon - This is the icon you select to actually go into the Admin Tool box. You icons for making changes will be in this area. This area requires a password.


The Text Tool

A Put your DJ name in this field
B Put your email address in this field
C Put the title of your show, the time of your show, and a description of your show in this field. You can use html in this area.


The Image Tool

Put your curser in one of the fields and type the name of the file to upload. If you want to look around for the image, click "Browse". You will then be able to look on your local drive or your floppy drive for the file to upload.

D This field is for the top picture on the left side of your Web Page. You can put the title of your show in this picture and replace "radio station 91.7 FM". Call it show.jpg

E This field is for the picture in the top right of your Web Page. Call it pic1.jpg
(size - 165 x 155 pixels)
F This field is for the picture just below the top picture on the right side of your Web Page.

(size - 165 x 155 pixels)
G This field is for the background image. Please keep it small.
Call it bk.jpg
(size - less than 200 x 200 pixels)


Remember, text and images should be appropriate for the University and should not be offensive. Follow the policies that are listed in IRM's Policies and Procedures. Anything that will get radio station in trouble with FAU or the State of Florida will be removed from this Web site. And this site is monitored throughout the day - every day.
